What We Don't Do
Let's start with what we don't do:
- We don't collect your personal data
- We don't store your data on our servers
- We don't track you
- We don't sell your data to anyone
- We don't share your data with third parties
- We don't use analytics or tracking tools
How Your Data is Stored
All your information stays on your device:
- Timer data: Stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage
- Settings: Your preferences (notification style, etc.) are saved locally
- History: Your protection history never leaves your device
If you delete the app, all your data is permanently deleted.
Notifications
Nymia sends you local notifications to remind you when it's time to change your protection. These notifications:
- Are generated entirely on your device
- Don't require internet connection
- Don't send any data to our servers
- Can be disabled at any time in iOS Settings
Purchases & Payments
Nymia uses RevenueCat and Apple's In-App Purchase system to handle payments:
- All payment processing is handled by Apple
- We never see or store your payment information
- RevenueCat only knows if you have an active purchase (no personal data)
- Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, managed by Apple
Permissions We Request
Nymia only requests permissions that are essential to its function:
- Notifications: To send you reminders when it's time to change your protection
That's it. We don't ask for access to your contacts, location, photos, or anything else.
Data Security
Since all your data stays on your device:
- It's protected by your device's security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- It's backed up with your device backups (iCloud or iTunes)
- We can never access it, even if we wanted to
Children's Privacy
Nymia is intended for users who menstruate. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age, because we don't collect data at all.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how we handle your privacy, we'll update this page and notify you through the app. However, our core principle will always remain: your data stays on your device.
